unconditional love
Today I was talking to my friend about unconditional love. :-), I talked this to a person who really love me and respect me so much, my very close friend Ramesh. I talked to Ramesh today after a long time. Our talk went for four hrs. :-), Parents, marriage, politics, education, business, biotechnology and finally unconditional love. These were the topics we discussed. I asked him why people always take it for granted when someone love them unconditionally or when someone is simple or childlike. In Indian way of life,we always did this to our mothers and sometimes to our partners if they happen to be ignorant or simple. But most of the time it happens to parents, especially mothers. He replied, "You need to be extremely careful and wise to choose the person whom you want to love". I didnt completely agree with this, I said, then it is calculation and strategy making, not life or love anymore. He replied, "unfortunately thats how it works, you know how most people treat their pet dogs which shows unconditional love towards them". Yes, there are very few people who respect their petdogs. I have seen many times that people avoid relitonships or be egoistic in relationships just to avoid being hurt. Very sad, the question I ask again and again is why? when life and reltionships can be very easy, why people make it so complicated. No answer.

are there people who really delivers love without any pre-condition? uncoditional love is conditioned because it is also happened under "conditioning?" :).
Good musing of yours, though!
Yes friend. Delivering or expressing love can be conditional...or out of a need. But just being in the state of love is altogether different. aanaal...I feel these days people are loosing that ability. they dont even understand this...expressing is only a consequence or result which obviously has a need behind it...but the cause is Love.
