She waits and He......

She waited
to hold the hand of
the highest
like a fire
with a heart of a flower
He walked
to hold the hand of
the compassionate
like a wind
with a heart of a child
oh, the wait continues
the fire left the body
of the flower
untouched
oh the walk continues
the wind shed tears
which flooded the ocean
oh the virgin of triveni
I pity the one
who missed the hand
your eternal wait makes
me long to wait
if not a fire at least
a spark
oh beloved
shed no tears,
embrace me with bliss
of fire
which won't leave
me untouched

(thoughts after hearing the story of Kanyakumari waited for the lord (in a sathsung with sadhguru), who failed to hold her hand. He wandered in the hills of Vellingiri to grow out of the sadness of disappointing her )

I remember Jeyamohan's Novel..vitally written with the backround of Kanya-kumari..who waits still with one foot at south-end-land of the country, Jeyamohan's has dealt a contemporary Kanya(?) kumari in his novel..where the character of Shiva was shown with absurd cowardity and varies his end later with fumes knowing the reaction of the contemporary "kumari" who significantly dint wait emotionally for her man..but has excelled professionally & efficiently in her own way on her own world:)
