Life has become so serious these days. Work, Work and Work. Textbooks, notebooks, handbooks, ID cards, syllabus, workshop...sex education at Isha Vidhya schools. These are the things I think about even while I am doing my kriyas (meditation) sometimes. mmmmmmm The only relaxation is music and Tamil. :), during tough times its nice to hear MSV/Kannadasan combination music. Though I don't belong to this generation of music, somehow I have developed a taste for it and it gives me a serene and peaceful feeling. Raja, who reads my blog regularly gave me some books. Amazing they are. A book titled "வால்காவிலிருந்து கங்கை வரை " was really interesting and took me to a different world. Another relaxation are my friends, calling and talking to them. Just few minutes of talk with them refresh me. I don't have any friends in the ashram, nor do I need one. The companionship which I get from the energy here is amazing. I and my room mates talk only necessary things...no social conversation.
At work I work with Diane, a 28 year old girl from Indiana Polis. She is so talented for her age. Technically very sound and our strengths compliment. That's very good. She can actually sit and decide the academic details and I can execute the decisions made. But she is so serious too always and working always. I thought I should show my usual craziness to her. Why so serious? let's put a smile on that face. So I wrote a story..here it goes :)
Two sweet little girls called Diane and Raji were playing in a garden. They didn’t know each other before and were happy to play together. Diane was searching for something in the garden. Raji was curious about what she was searching and asked
Raji: Diane, what are you searching?
Diane: I am searching for a flower, a beautiful one.
Raji: Really! a beautiful one. How will it look?
Diane: Well it can be of different kinds, the common features are, it will be bright, fragrant and bring so much of joy when you find one.
Raji: Really!!! Interesting. Yesterday I met a nice looking grandpa. You know his name is Jaggi. Everyone calls him Sadhguru and bow down to him. But for me he looks like this cute grandpa who tells you lot of stories and dance with you. I like him.
Diane: Hey I know him, I also like his stories. You know what, last time when I saw him he was telling that people can also blossom just like flowers. I was surprised. Raji do you believe this. How nice it will be if you and I can become like flowers.
Raji: YES, Diane, I have also heard someone* saying that friends are flowers in the garden of God. Can I become your friend and so that you will have that “beautiful flower” which you were searching.
Diane: what? Garden of God? But I was told that Garden of God is lost because of Adam-eves sin. It can be found only in Kingdom of God. We can’t go there.
Raji: But Diane, uncle-Jesus also had said that “only children can enter the Kingdom of God”, we both are cute little children of God and so we are already in his Kingdom.
Diane: How can I believe this?
Raji: Because I love you and you love me and we love everyone …don’t you think this is what the kingdom of God will have, Love, Joy and Happiness. (Raji went and gave a hug to Diane) Come let’s go and play.
*This someone’s name is Raji Kumaraswamy
Play: Isha Vidhya volunteering work
Garden/kingdom of God: Isha Ashram :D
(I sent this story to her and there was this smile on face for a very long time :D...gosh I will propose to her...if I am a man. Well, would say this to her some other time when she's serious)
